The Piece For Her, written and directed by Ramsey Perez, follows the story of a young composer as he deals with the tragic loss of his long time partner in the midst of creating his first concert piece. Memories of their past lives flood his mind as he loses grasp of his love and the love of music.
The Piece For Her soundtrack includes seven original scores composed by myself inspired by Up, various orchestral pieces, as well as two concert pieces created by John Porras for this short film.
I am beyond grateful for this film and how it has helped my career.
The soundtrack for The Piece For Her further pushed my musicality and mixing skills. I was able to cross new creative boundaries and further elevate my musical abilities with this project.
